The domestic travel market is the most competitive it’s ever been and as we come together with our Spanish partners in Alsa, we’re transforming our digital offering.

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Marketing Manager to sit at the centre of communicating this change to customers.

Reporting to the Lead Marketing Officer, you will inspire a cross functional internal team and collaborate with best in class agencies. You will be the voice of the customer as we build out commercial strategy and you will take the lead on executing against marketing strategies that tap into cultural moments to drive brand consideration, and deliver digital sales through our website and app. This role will have two direct reports.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days at NX House in Birmingham.

What you will actually be doing

• Strategic Leadership: Lead cross functional workstreams across commercial, digital, and brand marketing and craft inspiring creative and media briefs to deliver industry leading work.
• Manage 7 Figure Budgets: Manage a marketing budget that targets key trading periods to maximize both brand and performance KPIs.
• Champion Mobile-First Creative: Drive creative excellence across social, influencer marketing, performance channels (PPC, Affiliates, Paid Social), and in our airports and stations.
• Real Time Campaign Optimisation: Be the voice of the customer across the team, use consumer data and analytics to optimize campaigns reactively and report performance metrics to the executive team.

What we need from you

• Proven Track Record: At least 7 years of creative marketing experience in a dynamic environment, ideally within e-commerce or high frequency, low margin consumer brands.
• People & Team Development: Successful history of direct line management, talent development, and leading cross functional marketing teams.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to translate complex business objectives into clear, inspiring briefs that drive customer action.
• Financial & Commercial Mastery: Experience managing multi million pound budgets and proving ROI across performance and brand campaigns.
• Digital & Social Expertise: Deep understanding of modern media consumption habits and digital conversion pathways.
